Overview
The Serengeti is Tanzania's most storied wilderness — 14,750 square kilometres of open savannah where the Great Migration moves in an unbroken circuit of survival. Its name, from the Maasai siringet, means 'the place where the land runs on forever,' and standing on its plains at first light, it earns every syllable.
