The Minutes Tours ("we", "us", "our") is a Tanzania-based travel consultancy designing tailor-made safari, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar journeys. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or plan a trip with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We collect information you give us directly, including: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and country when you submit the journey planner ("Build Your Journey"), a contact form, or a booking request; travel details such as dates, group size, budget and destination preferences; and payment-related information (such as billing name and payment reference) when you make a deposit or payment, processed via our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type, general location (country/city level) and pages visited, via standard analytics tools, to help us understand how the site is used and to keep it working correctly.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries and journey planning requests; prepare and send personalised itineraries and proposals; process bookings, deposits and payments; communicate with you by email, phone or WhatsApp about your trip; and improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only where necessary to deliver your trip or run our business: with ground operators, camps, hotels and transport providers involved in your itinerary; with payment processors to handle deposits and balances; and with email or messaging providers we use to communicate with you. Each of these parties is only given the information needed to perform their role.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the site work.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to deliver your trip, handle any after-sales matters, and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
