Tanzania Visa & Entry Requirements: What to Know Before You Book
The Minutes Tours Editorial · 1 min read · November 22, 2025
Most nationalities can obtain a Tanzania visa on arrival or via the online e-Visa portal in advance — requirements vary by nationality, so confirm your specific case before travel. [PLACEHOLDER: link to current official visa guidance]
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only if you are arriving from, or have transited through, a country with risk of yellow fever transmission — it is not a blanket requirement for all visitors.
Your passport should have at least six months' validity remaining from your date of entry, plus at least one fully blank page for the visa stamp.
We recommend applying for any required e-Visa at least three weeks before departure to allow processing time, though this can vary.
